- The only narrow-gauge Roundhouse in the UK
- Double track mainline where you can experience parallel running and trains passing each other.
- FOUR different gauges of railway.
- Dedicated photography at various points of the railway.
- Fierce gradients and tight corners.
- Coaches with balcony ends so you can immerse yourself in steam.
- Freight trains throughout the day.
- Our unique railbus the ‘Goose’.
- Locomotive changes throughout the day.
The Hunslet Archive will also be open to allow people to speak with our archivists and see original locomotive drawings.
The day will also feature the Mease Valley Light Railway, the newest 12 ¼ gauge railway in existence.
As well as this, our friends at Statfold Engineering are opening their workshops to our visitors and will give various talks throughout the day.
Our friends at Transport Museum Wythall will be providing a shuttle bus service from Tamworth Town Centre and Tamworth Railway Station.
