General Open Days Admission

All aboard for an enjoyable day at Statfold Country Park, home to our award-winning heritage railway museum, home to four different gauges of railway, including the Mease Valley Light Railway which is the newest 12 ¼ gauge railway in existence.

Enjoy unlimited train rides, view the World-Renowned collection in the only UK Roundhouse, take a journey on a train, kids can let of steam in Toby's Barn, refuel and grab a bite to eat at Diane's Diner or Peelers Bar. Finish off your visit with a trip to the Statfold gift shop (seasonal opening applies).

 

Train Rides on our 2ft Narrow Gauge 

Enjoy unlimited rides around our award-winning railway taking in stunning Staffordshire countryside views. Look out for the trail around the track! Please note, from time to time we may operate diesel rather than steam. 

 

Train Rides on the Mease Valley Light Railway

Take a ride on our Mease Valley Light Railway. This miniature railway is the newest 12 1/4 gauge in existence. Please note, seasonal open times apply for this railway.

View our world-renowned locomotive collection inside the museum and learn about the history of these magnificent engines.

 

Tobys Barn Soft Play 

Little ones can let off steam and enjoy Toby’s Soft Play. The soft play area offers an extensive multi-level play area full of vibrantly coloured Railway themed-challenges and obstacles throughout. Part maze, part assault course and all fun! The three-tier Soft Play also boasts a smaller Toddler-friendly area.

Session Times: 10:00-11:00, 11:15-12:15, 12:30-13:30, 13:45-14:45, 15:00-16:00

Space is limited, so be sure to book a timed session to gurantee your space, simply select your General Open Day tickets, select your date and a number of pop-up purchase suggestions will appear. It will prompt you to book your soft play, just scroll through the options using the blue continue button. 

 

Fun Activities

From outdoor play parks, inflatable fun to vintage fair rides, there's plenty of fun for the little ones to explore.

 

If you are visiting on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday (extra sessions available during school holidays), why not add Retro Roller Disco

Retro Roller Skating (additional activity cost - tickets from £8.00) 

Feel the breeze through your hair as you dance with swirling lights around you while you enjoy throw-back family fun skating to some of your favourite music in our Retro Roller Disco! 

Session Times: 

Friday's: 16:30-19:00

Saturday's & Sunday's: 11:00-13:30 & 14:00-16:30

Toby's Barn Clip N Climb (additional activity cost - £5.00 per person)

For the slightly older guests (4 years+), reach new heights whilst climbing. There are 5 themed walls all towering 7.5 metres so both children and adults can reach exciting heights varying in difficulty.

Session Times: 10:15-10:45, 11:30-12:00, 12:45-13:15, 14:00-14:30, 15:15-15:45
